Introduction.....
ABBFL (Associated British Bio-Fuels Ltd,) based in Bedford, is a commercial producer of BIODIESEL, manufacturing the fuel from spent cooking oil,
ABBFL recognises the ever increasing demands for fuel and as the stocks of conventional mineral diesel are depleting rapidly, ABBFL can provide a sustainable alternative to traditional Diesel fuel at no extra cost to the user.
By converting waste used cooking oil into a usable fuel, ABBFL helps the environment by recycling this waste product into a carbon neutral fuel, which has in the past been disposed of in landfill sites or poured down the drains. We do not use virgin oils, thus we do not pose any threat to the food chain.
ABBFL has designed its processing plant to be efficient for the supply of Biodiesel to the small and medium sized customer, thus we produce fuel by a batch process. We have especially concentrated on filtration of Biodiesel, after the production of the crude Biodiesel thus ensuring a product of extremely high quality. As can be seen from the photographs, during filtration we clean the Biodiesel down to 4µ and then log to a computer the particle data, a print out of which the customer can then take with them.. Unlike some other producers ABBFL fuel goes through a number of rigorous quality control checks and we therefore have a 100% insurance backed product guarantee of our fuel quality.
ABBFL are fully compliant with The Environment Agency, holding an IPPC licence for the production of Biodiesel and are also registered with HMRC as a fuel producer.
ABBFL can supply customers in quantities from 20 litre containers through to batches of 1000 litres per IBC’s. Introduction
